Amazon Web Service (AWS) Introduction

  Amazon Web Service (AWS)

AWS stands for Amazon Web Services is a cloud service from Amazon, which provides services in the form of building blocks, these building blocks can be used to create and deploy any type of application in the cloud. These services or building blocks are designed to work with each other, and result in applications that are too sophisticated and highly scalable.  AWS is a secure, on-demand platform for cloud computing that offers a comprehensive service including storage of databases, delivering content and APIs to individuals, businesses, companies, and also government. The cloud computing web services also provides a wide range of infrastructure, tools, and building blocks of computing.

v  Services of AWS:

1.   Amazon EC2: (Elastic Compute Cloud)

EC2 is a cloud platform provided by Amazon that provides secure computer capabilities and can be reused. Its purpose is to provide easy access to and use of cloud computing for web developers while allowing complete control of your computer resources. User can submit applications quickly without the need to invest in hardware in advance; all the while you are able to present the virtual servers as needed and on the scale.

 2.   Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service):

Amazon S3 is ranked at the top of the AWS services list- because, storing and obtaining data plays a prominent role in cloud computing. Therefore, AWS provides a great service called Amazon Simple Storage Service or Anazon S3 to store and retrieve large files up to 5 TB from the cloud. It is a cheap, affordable, and fast we-based service designed for archiving and online storage of system programs and data. Using S3, a user can access the same program that Amazon uses to create its website. Users can control public or private access to data.

3.   Amazon Glacier:

AWS Glacier services are secure, flexible, and inexpensive for Amazon S3 cloud storage classes for data backup and log-term backup. These final stages ensures the delivery of confidence while ensuring complete safety and compliance capabilities while meeting regulatory requirements.

4.   Amazon RDS (Relational Database Services):

Amazon Relational Database Services simplifies data configuration, management, and measurement in the cloud. Replace tedious tasks such as hardware provision, database layout, fragmentation, and backup-cost effective and tailored to your needs. RDS is available in a variety of data formats designed for performance and memory, offering six standard engines including Amazon Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle and SQL Server. By using the AWS Database Migration Service, we can esily move or reproduce our existing data on Amazon RDS.

5.   Amazon Lambda:

Amazon Lambda is a service that allows a user to use code without a server. Amazon Lambda uses code only when the user needs scales automatically. Users only pay for computer time, there is no need to charge when your code does not work. This service supports code written in Java, Python, Node.js and languages supported by Amazon Linux.

6.   Amazon SNS (Simple Notification Service):

Amazon SNS is a fully integrated messaging solution that provides cost effective infrastructure for multiple message delivery services, especially for mobile users. User can communicate directly with customers through system to system or app to person communications between deleted micro services applications.

7.   Amazon CloudFront:

CloudFront is a fast paced content delivery network platform for the secure distribution of data, videos, applications and APIs on a global scale with low latency times. Connected to AWS’s global infrastructure, CloudFront integrates seamlessly with programs such as Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, AWS shield and Lambda Edge to customize code to personalize the experience.

8.   Amazon Kinesis:

Get real-time information through Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze real-time data, to help you respond faster. Key features within AWS kinesis are the inexpensive processing of streaming data on the scale, as well as the option to select the right tools for your application. Include real-time data, including video, audio, app records, website activity, and IoT data for mobile learning and other applications. With Kinesis, users can track, analyze and process data in real time, enabling faster response capabilities.

9.   Amazon SQS (Simple Queue Service):

Amazon SQS stands for Simple Queue Service and manages the message line service. Using this service, you can move data or messages from one application to another if you are not in a function state. SQS sends messages across multiple services, including S3, DynamoDB, EC2 instance, and also uses the java message line service to deliver information.

10.               Amazon EBS: (Elastic Block Store):

The EBS is a highly efficient storage solution used within Amazon EC2 for carrying and loading performance of any size, at any time. It handles a wide range of job responsibilities, such as non-relationship information, and business applications. With EBS, users have the option to choose between five types of multiple volumes to achieve optimal cost and efficiency. Adjust the volume and type to process efficiency without interrupting other important applications, while keeping cost saving storage the way you go.

11.               Dynamo Database:

DynamoDB is a document database with a number of key constructs that bring small digit performance by a one digit scale. Dynamo has built in security with a fully managed database, multimaster, multi-region, permanent database, backup and restore, and archiving web-scale application. DynamoDB can handle more than 10 billion applications every day and can support more than 20 million applications per second.

12.                Amazon VPC (Virtual Private Cloud):

VPC allows us to set up a sufficiently remote AWS Cloud section where we can scale AWS services on a scale in a visible area. VPC gives you complete control over your environment, including the option to choose your IP address range, subset creation, and route table layouts and network access points. Customize your VPC network configuration with flexible dashboard management controls designed for maximum use.
